Chemistry Fall 2014

On Friday I visited Michael Spatzer's Chemistry Class at Black River. Michael has been working with the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL https://pogil.org/) method with some of his science classes. In this case the students worked in small groups to address the question "Do atoms rearrange themselves in predictable patterns during chemical reactions?" The students worked through a series of exercises that helped them think about that question.
