Yesterday I visited Mic Metz's Freshman Physical Science class at Black River.  Mic was working on some basic concepts around force and motion. This day his students were learning the math to calculate speed. However they did take a break to do some applied speed work with a radar gun.  The Freshman were also getting started on their Research Individual Investigation Project (RIIP) which will culminate in a science fair later in the semester.
