SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AID

All students grades 9-12 are eligible to create an account to earn micro-scholarships throughout high school for things like attending a college fair, completing the FAFSA, playing a sport, taking the PSAT, volunteering, and more!! Robert and Joyce Oberkotter Trades Scholarship Students hoping to enroll in the technical or community colleges are eligible to apply. Students who are awarded our scholarship receive $3,500 for each year that they are enrolled in post-secondary school as long as they remember to reapply on time each year and work hard while in school.

United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program Each year $1,000.00 grants are awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education. Applications are due by January 17, 2020. www.usjcisenatefoundation.org

Knights of Columbus Vermont State Council Our Annual Scholastic Achievement Awards Program offers five $1,000.00 scholarships. All applicants must be postmarked by March 10, 2020 to qualify. For more information contact james.candon2@yahoo.com.

The Union of Vermont Educators awards ten Maida F. Townsend $1,000 Scholarships annually to children of Vermont -NEA members. Awards are based on merit, not financial need. Application process includes: cover letter, unofficial transcript,list of co-curricular and community service activities, 400 word essay, and two letters of recommendation.Application deadline February 1, 2020. www.vtnea.org/maida-townsend-scholarship
